How to use the AKM rifle optimally in PUBG mobile?
In this article, I am going to share with you that how to use the AKM rifle in a better way? lots of my friend always used to say the AKM is very difficult to control during gunfights maybe, because of the ridiculously high recoil but now after lots of hour of testing and playing with the weapon I am finally competent to make the guide that we have all been wanting.
“In March 1953, soon after mass supplies of the 7.62 mm AK/AKS assault rifles to the armed forces began, the Small Arms Department of the General Artillery Directorate issued operational requirements for standard automatic weapons: a new assault rifle and a light machine gun. At the outset, it stipulated that the basic assault rifle had reduced weight and improved accuracy of fire.

Degtyarev and G. S. Garanin completed tests in 1956. The 7.62 mm AKM Kalashnikov upgraded assault rifle (index 6P1) was finally adopted for service in accordance with the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR dated 8 April 1959.
The AKM retained the general layout of the AK assault rifle, including a gas-operated mechanism with a long-stroke piston attached to the bolt carrier; breech locked by a rotating bolt with two locking lugs; return mechanism arranged in the longitudinal channel of the bolt carrier; fling mechanism allowing automatic and single-shot firing modes provided with the manual fire mode selector/safety lock; arrangement of all systems and mechanisms inside the receiver.
It must be noted that from the outset the AK/AKM gas-operated mechanism was decided to have excessive power: coupled with the suspended moving parts and great clearances in the mechanism, such arrangement provides reliable operation of the weapon even in the heavily contaminated environment. However, it creates an increased load on the system, greater gas cylinder reaction force and vibrations. The AKM design features ports for discharging burned powder gases into the atmosphere moved from the gas tube to the gas chamber.
In contrast to the Р В Р’В Р РЋРІР‚в„ўР В Р’В Р РЋРІвЂћСћ models which had either a stamped sheet metal receiver with steel insert or a heavy machined receiver, the AKM ultimately adopted a receiver made of stamped parts joined together with welds and rivets. It helped reduce weight and save metal by 80% in production items. The Light-weight receiver cover was cross-ribbed to increase its stiffness.
A number of steps were taken to improve the accuracy of fire: firing mechanism received an anchor-type hammer retarder (proposed by V. F. Lyuty), and the boll carrier impact point was shifted from the right to the left side to increase horizontal stability when firing. Once the trigger is pulled, the hammer turns and strikes twice on the retarder arms, thus increasing the turning time so that at the moment of the next shot the muzzle part of the barrel under vibration takes a position close to what it had at the previous shot. Duration of the gas-operated mechanism cycle is increased slightly whereas the accuracy of fire is improved.
Some components of the firing mechanism were improved and partially modified, but its general layout remained the same. The fire selector/safety lock in the upper position blocks the trigger and shuts the slot in the receiver, thus preventing the rearward movement of the bolt carrier and protecting the mechanism against dust and dirt (the slot for used cartridge case ejection is closed by the bolt carrier itself). The fire selector/safely Sock in this position makes it impossible to open fire or chamber the round. When in the middle position, the fire selector/safety Sock blocks the semiautomatic fire sear, enabling the fully automatic fire mode (the hammer is released from the cocked position by the auto-sear), in the lower position the semi-automatic sear is released enabling the single-shot fire mode. If for some reason, the hammer fails to cock and rotates after the bolt carrier, the safety lug of the latter will prevent the hammer from striking on the firing pin.
The muzzle end of the barrel is threaded to allow mounting a blank (ire adaptor, a PBS noise/flash suppressor, or a slanted active muzzle compensator.”

Firstly I would mention that AKM has high damage than M416 and Scar-L. And the weapon is beast under 100 mitres so don’t you ever think that rifle is garbage, all you need the best tactics and timing.
So, let’s get into this:
The stats :
Hit damage of AKM is 49 which is 10% more than the 5.56 assault rifles the bullet velocity 715 m/s which compared to 5.56 ARS is almost 200 meters per second lower and this very important to know because the AKM rifle is not suited for hitting moving targets at range.
When spraying you can achieve a damage per second of 490 which really isn’t that much compared to the difficult handling but secrets in damage lie in the number of shots required to kill an enemy because a full level 2 enemy only takes two bullets to kill with an AKM if one shot is a headshot and the other is in the belly or chest region but the handing is very poor the recoil pattern of the AKM is horrible with extreme levels of horizontal recoil even though you have a compensator equipped.
This is also important to know because of course, this means that going into full auto is kind of a risk this is why you shouldn’t do a full-on spray with the AKM unless within a few meters of your enemy instead, you should be using the rule of one 1+4.
Because the first 5 bullets of the AKM behave in a predictable manner with low horizontal recoil countering this recoil behaviour will you to burst at least 5 bullets with high precision, if you do this you will erase your enemies in milliseconds because 5 bullets are very deadly with an AKM and this will work with incredible accuracy on ranges of up to 50 meter.
Single tapping with an AKM is terrible and if you ever get far away from your enemies in the scope you’re going to be better off using a 5.56 assault rifle.

Best attachments for the AKM:
These are quite easy picked, you will need a compensator a red dot and an extended quick-draw mag the compensator is a must-have for this weapon to work properly I would never advise to going for a suppressor on the AKM you need every single bit of recoil reduction on this weapon use a suppressor on something else the same goes with the choices of red dot the AKM rifle is a short, too short, medium range which makes the red dot superior to having a better vision around you something that is highly beneficial on short range.

Perfect attachments for AKM
Well, I guess the AKM is short-short medium range weapon and by this I mean the weapon works great up to 50 meters but when you go beyond this there will simply be a better 5.56 assault rifle like Scar-L, M416 alternative, in the early games AKM is the beast. It is my favourite iron sight weapon in the game and it does incredible damage to unarmoured targets you can simply shred everyone in the early game with this weapon even with iron sight.
This really justifies the existence of the AKM being able to take down a full level 2 target in 0.1seconds is stupidy powerful the inaccuracy of the AKM doesn’t really matter at shortened distances but the high damage certainly does, be a bit careful with hip-fire though it sometimes works sometimes it fails too.
The AKM vs Vehicles:
Finally, something that I love using the AKM for is killing people in vehicles. Surely you can kill the driver using your AKM but honestly, I just prefer spraying down the entire vehicle for a glorious explosive kill, this is highly satisfying and the horizontal recoil won’t be a big problem here. Follow up your vehicle spray down with your secondary weapon if you need.
